Maybe, but I allready called the target with ap I don't need mop for that. And while mop is great, it cause scatter and with PI the target actualy helps me kill it self.
In most cases both mop and pi would work I guess.

But the fact is that for ap your target has to die regardless the foes around him. While MOP is good for the extra damage it does nothing to the target you hexed with AP. And PI does.
10 seconds is a long time for that one monster to die. You should be fine unless you forget to kill the healer or someone doesn't listen.

MoP seldom / never cause scatter . Because by the time it causes scatter, everyone is dead already .

Look, when you target someone with MoP and call out, everyone is attacking it . So if you imagine, if this hexed foe were to go around . your physical attacks would proc it and therefore hurting his own team, they would die faster than him. but if hes not around anyone, nothing much is done . but yeah . by the time your mop target dies, everyone else should be at least <50% hp . except some backliners which isn't hard if you use barbs.

edit: like what sasori said, PI is mainly used for foes who deal aoe/fast damage e.g. eles but eles have low AL making them easy to die even without PI . I only use PI on bosses because they take a longer time to die . and PI doesn't hurt monks .

They Always scatter in HM, it's not like they stand there while getting killed.

Also MoP won't do very much on just a monk either That's why we bring the other necro skills.

MoP @ 16 curses + buh = 55 damage . tell me that doesn't kill fast .

they cant scatter ! they die in less than 3 seconds lol . idc if they do . barbs will finish them off . if you have AP hexed on him, just cast MoP again . xD

edit: thanks higher minion for this suggestion . it's awesome
